Missionaries often have to raise support not only for their everyday living expenses, but also for essential ministry resources such as a church building, a vehicle, or even a boat for transportation. Imagine trying to fundraise for those needs while serving in a developing nation.
These faithful and dedicated servants of God should not have to worry about how to fund their calling. They should be free to stay focused on their mission, sharing the Gospel and advancing the Kingdom.
Missionary Allies was born out of a desire to see Missionaries free to serve
The Problem:
It’s estimated one missionary is needed for every 50,000 unreached person. As a result, we need 66,547 more missionaries to serve these people.*
Since it takes $59,500 a year to support a missionary, we need $3.96 billion a year to support these missionaries.
Evangelical Christians together earn $5.98 trillion dollars each year! That means if every evangelical gave an extra $6.63 for every $10,000 we earn, that would cover all missionary financial costs.
60% of unreached people groups live in countries that are closed to missionaries from North America. We need to support missionaries from other countries to be able to reach some of the most unreached.
